THE TEAM
Our team had changed a lot since the start, so we'll mention only those who have taken part in the filming of the second part of "Buddhism in Russia: A Long Journey of a Deep Meaning" and also those who have helped in all stages of the project.
More than 70 people were brought together by the film, among them filmmakers, historians, orientalists, culturologists, musicians, videographers, directors and followers of Buddhism.
Elena Leonteva
Script
Graduated from Lviv State University, Department of Mathematics in 1987. In 1994-1996 studied at the Karmapa International Buddhist Institute, New Delhi, India. In 2011 completed her postgraduate studies at the Institute of Oriental studies, specializing in Source studies, Historiography and Methods of historical research. Since 2007 has been working as editor-in-chief of Orientalia publishing house. Author of many articles and books on Buddhism. Currently writes and translates books, makes documentaries and travels the world.
Grigory Dikkert
Director
Born in 1975 in Moscow. Studied Television Directing. Graduated from the Humanities Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting in 2002. Worked as a director, producer and screenwriter on TNT, STS, Pepper, MTV and other TV channels and in different TV shows and documentaries. The Director of the "Art for Enlightenment" documentary. Currently collaborates with several production companies as a director of commercials and documentaries.
Valentin Kuznetsov
Presenter
Professional actor and TV host. Graduated from Russian State Institute of Performing Arts. Worked as a reporter and presenter at Channel 5 morning show. There are 50 films in his filmography including "Paper Soldier" by Alexey German Jr. where he plays Yuri Gagarin. The film has won the Silver Lion for the Best Director and the Golden Osella for the Outstanding Technical Contribution at the 65th Venice International Film Festival. Works as a business coach.
Igor Korotkiy
Operator
Born in 1978 in Sebastopol. Studied Nuclear Power Engineering at a military university. Works as a freelance video producer. One of the two videographers in "Buddhist Stupas: Miracles And Facts" documentary.
Andrey Efimov
CFO, Photographer
Born in 1967. Lives in Moscow. Studied Engineering and Economics. An independent entrepreneur. Since 2013 works as a picture researcher for "Buddhism.ru" magazine.
Yana Kuznetsova

Born in 1988 in Volgograd, Russia. Studied Tourism Management. Since 2013 is a Managing Editor of "Buddhism.ru" magazine. Works as as a designer.
